2023 PSW Presidential Address
by Hannet Tibagwa Ambord, PharmD, MBA, MS
"I was very humbled when I received the request to consider the PSW presidency, I must admit. I knew Sarah was talking to me because she called me by name, but inside my brain, I wanted to turn to see if she was speaking to somebody else. I consulted with my husband, my pharmacy team at Reedsburg Area Medical Center, along with my boss. I checked in with my mentor, Tom Thielke, and also prayed about it. They all gave me a resounding yes. So, I stand before you humbly and I accept the opportunity to serve you and our profession regardless of practice setting. I am proud to say that PSW strives to represent all practice locations, from independents to retail, hospitals, longterm care, managed care, academia, mail order, and industry, to name a few."
Keywords: Pharmacists, Pharmacy Service, Hospital, Wisconsin, Academia, Consultants, Long-Term Care, Medicaid, Medication Reconciliation, Pandemics, Uganda, Universities, Pharmacy, Delivery of Health Care, Workforce, Ambulatory Care, Emergency Service, Hospital, Immunization
