Wisconsin Pharmacy Workforce Summit Recommendations in Action: Year 1 Review

In August 2024, stakeholders convened for the Pharmacy Workforce Summit, a statewide, multidisciplinary effort to chart a comprehensive strategic roadmap for the pharmacy workforce. The Summit brought together pharmacists, technicians, students, schools of pharmacy, state professional healthcare organizations, state governmental agencies (e.g., Department of Public Instruction), and employers, resulting in 12 recommendation statements across nine domains. Unified by the vision to make Wisconsin a national leader in building and elevating the success of the pharmacy workforce over the next 5 years, participants laid a strong foundation for collective action.
